Found – in the parking lot at Shop Rite
The house that I have been looking at and was interested in, dropped in price again. It was the second price drop in about 2 weeks, so I decided to take a little drive past it on my way to the supermarket to see if they made any of the updates to it that the real estate guy told me they were planning to do.
I had noticed on the internet listing that some of the interior updates were made, but I wasn’t sure about the exterior updates. When I drove past, I did not notice any new exterior updates. Every time I drive past the house, it just reconfirms to me how much I like the neighborhood. It’s a great location and the neighborhood just has a really nice friendly vibe. I’m just unsure about the house itself because it has a few issues – way too much baseboard heating along practically every wall of the house, and an outdated electrical system. So I’m still up in the air about it, leaning towards no unless the price comes down another 30K or so.
Anyway, after I drove past the house, I went to the supermarket to pick up some groceries. I drove all the way to the far end of the parking lot, farthest away from the store itself, so that my car wouldn’t get hit by stray shopping carts or people who park too close. I’ve gotten too many little dents and dings on my car in supermarket parking lots over the years.
I parked my car in a spot with empty spots on either side of it. I opened my door and as I was stepping out of my mini-SUV, I found a bunch of change on the ground right next to me. Two quarters, two dimes, two pennies. I thought that was kinda strange. Of course, I immediately started to look around the spot, my car, the car on the other side, to see if there were perhaps some larger bills lying around, but no such luck. LOL.
